Chelsea boots
Ankle-high boot without laces, with elastic panels on both sides and usually a pull tab at the heel. The smooth, slim shape makes them one of the few boots that also go with wool trousers and a sport coat. Dark brown suede goes with flannel, jeans and corduroy. The trousers should be slim enough to rest on the shaft without a large break.

From the Guide
- Boots need trousers with weight: safe with jeans, taupe, olive and brown. With light summer trousers they are too heavy.
- Boots suit chinos in fall, not linen trousers in summer.
