Dress better, step by step

Fewer pieces. More outfits.

A few good pieces that fit and go together are enough for the office, the weekend and dinner: the 18 pieces in our Lookbook make 44 safe outfits. Stil shows you the way in four steps.

The path

Four steps to a wardrobe that works

Step 1 of 4

Know the three principles

  • Fit before brand. Shoulders, waistband and hem matter more than the label. Pants that fit look more expensive than they were.
  • A few good pieces. Better a handful that all go together than thirty that don’t.
  • Calm colors. Navy, gray, white, light blue, beige and brown can be mixed almost any way you like.

Choose your wardrobe

At Stil, a wardrobe is a handful of pieces for your everyday life, in the order you buy them. After the third piece you have a complete outfit, and each one after that adds new ones – up to 12 safe outfits per wardrobe. What do you dress for most often?

We count top, pants and shoes where all three pairs are rated “safe”. The jacket and accessory rate at least “works” with every piece in the wardrobe, but they don’t count.

Combine without guessing

Every pair of top, trousers and shoes is rated: safe, works or avoid. So you know beforehand what goes together. The 18 pieces in the Lookbook – 9 tops, 6 trousers, 3 pairs of shoes – make 162 combinations. 44 of them are safe in every pair.
