Striped shirt
Shirt with lengthwise stripes, in the office usually fine Bengal stripes in light blue and white made of poplin. It looks livelier than a solid shirt and still stays calm as long as sport coat and tie are plain. With a suit, sport coat and wool trousers it goes like a light blue shirt. Two patterns side by side, such as stripes and check, take practice.

From the Guide
- Light blue goes with almost any trousers: beige, sand, taupe, olive, gray and navy are safe. With jeans and brown it works, but is not the first choice.
