Rain jacket

Plain, waterproof jacket with a hood made of coated fabric, hip-length and without large logos. It is the piece for wet days, with jeans, chinos and sneakers or boots. Navy or olive stays calm. Over a sport coat it looks out of place; that is what the mac coat is for.
