Funnel neck

Sweater with a high collar that is not folded over but stands slightly away from the neck like a funnel. It sits less tight than the turtleneck and therefore looks a little more contemporary. Ribbed and made of wool or wool-cashmere, it goes with flannel, corduroy and jeans, under an overcoat or an overshirt.

From the Guide

  • Earth tones such as camel, light brown and sage need contrast: safe with gray and jeans, with beige, taupe or brown it becomes tone on tone.
